clean all residue from containers/lids/pumps with hot soapy water. for glass, boil in water for 5 minutes. for plastic, rinse with 120 proof (60% alcohol) vodka. For pumps, run hot soapy water through and then pump with the same alcohol.

make sure everything is DRY AS THE DESERT before using it for a refill.
